I am looking at the 65" Vizio P series Quantum X. After seeing this I checked out the LG CX Oled. Nearly $1, 000 more. Decision made, ordering the Vizio!

Good video bro I just copped the 55 inch. I really wanted the 65 but it wasn't in stock so now im undecided on what to do but that 65 inch right now is about $1200 more expensive with the 55 on sale.

my only fear with oled is burn in. I don't want spend so much money on TV and I have to remind myself I cannot watch or play certain games constantly that is a BIG one concern

I guess I'm concerned about OLED burn-in risks. I use my TV as a computer monitor and game consoles along with TV. It's tempting, but I'm still leaning toward the Vizio so I can have that peace of mind.

I almost bought one, but they gave up support for DTS this year. Probably not be a huge issue for the majority, but it'll affect PLEX users and anyone who was hooking up devices straight to their TV, then eARC out to a receiver (which would be necessary for XBSX/PS5 users since even new receivers only have one 2.1 input). A lot of movies have Dolby and DTS, but some (even newer UHD films) have good DTS, like DTS:X and only stereo Dolby. Atmos might come out as the dominant format but it seems like LG jumped the gun on this.

I'm waiting for the vizio oled coming out September 13. Vizio oled also uses lg oled panels as well as having a huge list of features that future proof the tv including hdmi 2.1 at 48gbps.

Congrats man enjoy your Tv. I watch a lot of sports a lot like I'm watching the Celtics and the Raptors now. And as I'm watching I'm noticing how much the score ticker stays on the screen. In other words I want OLED I'm just too afraid of burn in. I don't watch Tv ever hardly but when sports on I'm on it my wife on the other hand watches a lot of Tv and she can't fall asleep unless the tube is on. I have and my wife has burn in on our Samsung phones. On my phone its hardly noticeable unless I point it out on her phone it's ridiculous that's whats pushing me to Vizio P series quantumX.

Nice television. I just bought the 65 inch Sony A8h at Best buy along with the 5yr warranty. I am a first time OLED owner, not a gamer, just tons of sports and movies. I am coming from a 2012 Plasma. Thought the warranty was peace of mind and getting the Sony at $1800, left room in the budget 👍👍👍

I like the OLEDs too. My only concern is the brightness in HDR. Not normal usage. And in game mode with PS5, it may be a little dark. Is yours in game mode now when you play normal PS4?

Burn in is not an issue unless you have constant picture on the corner. the people that need worry about burn in is people that watch sports 10 hours a day. maybe a oled in a bar will have burn in at 3 years.... but when you get warrenty even if covers burn in, no oled 2018 and newer will have it before 3 years... they have really up there game with anti burn in

I was not concerned about the burn in since I bought the warranty but I didn’t like the dim picture of the 77CX for me it was too dim and dark, maybe it was black crush I’m not sure. coming from Sony 930e. So I sent it back and got the P series X 2021 so far so good

I just ordered the new Vizio P Quantum X 75 inch as its now in stock at Best Buy for $1999. I already had a 65 inch so I wanted to upgrade to a 75 inch and I really like the CX Oled but at $4000 for a 77 inch was just to much. Now if the Vizio turns out to be trash then I'll return it and get a CX around Black Friday hopefully they will knock the price down a bit.

Are you worried about burn in on oled?

I have lg c6, and it got burn in after 5.5k hours. I got free replacement because warranty. But honestly I just moved tv for living room and got sony x950g for my bedroom. Got tired of lack of brightness and color due to abl and lack of brightness. Oled still looks impressive on some content but other content looks very bland so I don't consider it a very good general purpose tv. Excellent movie tv though, but not best for anime or gaming imo.
