The "peaceful counter protests" seem, to me at least, an opportunity to virtue signal - again - without having to actually grapple with the root cause. It seems to be about "feeling good" more than anything else.

This isnt a race issue. This is about uncontrolled migrations deletory effects on social services, housing, crime, and community cohesion. Until that is a legitimate topic of serious conversation, rather than a means for the media to run "far right" headlines, this will get a lot worse and eventually, one way of another, will get sorted. I for one would rather the diplomatic, considered way over what will certainly come if the media and useful idiots like Starmer continue to deliberately miss the point.
