Children are considered legal tenants so a parent can kick them out when they turn 18 but they lawfully have to go through court to evict them. You cant just throw them out with all their stuff

Everyone forgets that it is required BY LAW to start an eviction process if someone has residency established. The parents would have to file with the clerk of courts and pay (in the area I live) $350 to have it filed and served by a sheriff. Then that person has 30 days to vacate the premise or be forcibly removed by the sheriff. A parent can’t just kick their kid out of the house, ESPECIALLY paying rent without notification. A lot of people don’t realize this. All in all, the parents are shit humans to do that to their child regardless.
