Champaign West Rotary Presents CU’s Got Talent

This 5th annual talent competition doubles as a fundraiser in support of local charities who do not have the capacity to host a major benefit. Monies raised will have a material impact on the lives of the people served by local nonprofit organizations. In addition, funds raised will allow Champaign West Rotary Charities to provide quick financial response to emergency needs of charities in our community. To vote for talent, please go to:

Our act did not raise enough money to win (we got second), but the event as a whole raised $35, 000 (after expenses) for local charities. That total was not just the voting for the talent, but included tickets for admission, silent auction, sponsorships etc. Thanks to all who contributed! It was a lot of fun and I am glad I could share it with you.

Off topic, I am very interested in uranium fuel cycle and thorium fuel cycle (pros and cons of each), and also, about the issues with uranium enrichment (which has a lot of ecological problem)

Immediately stop with the use of any cover music in your videos as it will just give you a mountain of headaches and can result in your videos being muted, blocked or simply removed from youtube! I ran a little live music video stream and was silly enough to use music I shouldn't have as a theme song for the show - now all of those episodes, 32 in total, 30+ minutes per episode are one by one, slowly but surely getting muted, blocked or removed from youtube because of a 30 second intro and outro on each episode. utter nightmare, get the music department to score you up something tasty :)
