Pinkie Pie invites her friends to play an escape room game at Sweet Apple Acres for Hearth's Warming Eve, warning them that they’ll be locked in until they finish, with a "super big and really scary" consequence if they don’t escape in time though she can't recall what that is. The ponies tackle a series of strange tasks, like licking candy canes, juggling gift boxes, and swimming the backstroke, but struggle to find the key. When time runs out, they brace for the scary event, only for a giant gift box to open and reveal Gummy, parachuting out much to their disappointment.
