What are carriers doing to stop robocalls?

VERIZON
Verizon offers a free service to postpaid customers called Call Filter. This lets you get spam alerts, report unsolicited numbers, and block robocalls. There is a paid version that gives you even more options to block callers that costs $2.99/month. You can download this app through your phones app store.

AT&T
AT&T recently announced they would automatically enroll all new customers into the AT&T Call Protect program and current customers will automatically be enrolled over the coming months. Call Protect is free and offers fraud blocking and informs you when there is a suspected spam or robocall. If you want to enroll right now, you can download the app via your phones app store.

T-MOBILE
T-Mobile offers ScamBlock and ScamID at no extra cost to all customers. Scam ID lets you know if an incoming call is likely a scam. Scam Block blocks all calls that are likely robocallers or scammers. T-Mobile warns that Scam Block isn’t perfect and may actually block calls that aren’t scams. T-Mobile also offers Name ID with all Magenta Plus plans. Name ID has an automated caller ID, call blocker, and can send specific calls straight to your voicemail. You can opt in to the free services by dialing #662# on your T-Mobile phone.

SPRINT
Currently Sprint does not offer a free service to block unwanted scam calls or robocalls. But they do offer a service through the Premium Caller ID app that costs $2.99/month and it identifies potential scammers and robocalls, and will ID the caller. You can download this app on your phone's app store.

APPS
If you’re not satisfied with your carriers solution to prevent and block robocallers, or their solutions aren't working there are a few apps out there that can help. A few of the top apps are Hiya, RoboKiller, and Truecaller. You can learn more about them here:
