This title was a bit misleading, but I'll address it anyway.

Regardless of Netanyahu specifically, many people on the Israeli Left that had previously been marching against the government, for Palestinian rights and anti-occupation university students and the entire Left wing elite in general just got the shock of their lives when witnessing these slaughters.

Most of the Kibbutzes down there are very Left wing and Liberal and anti-Netanyahu etc.

Well, unfortunately their perspectives will be more likely to drift rightwards now politically after what they have witnessed for obvious reasons.

There was Israel before this attack - and there is Israel after this attack.

We are not the same country we were just last week.

What we will become now remains to be seen - assuming WW3 doesn't break out and that is an alarmingly strong possibility.
