Valentino has copied Asmodeus's outfit in Hazbin Hotel

Did you notice this in Hazbin Hotel?

In a previous short a while ago i talked about how mammon is a copycat of lucifer, and has copied things like his cane and theme park.

Valentino is another example of this. In helluva boss we meet asmodeus, the sin of lust. Asmodeus has a special appearance he uses when he’s trying to be undercover to not draw much attention.

This form is almost identical to valentino.

It’s pretty apparent that valentino is jealous of ozzie, and as a result is trying to steal his look.

I think it also helps to emphasize the contrast between the two characters. Val has copied ozzie’s look, but not his personality. Ozzie is surprisingly sweet, loving and cares about his partner and consent. Val is the polar opposite. He treats everyone around him horribly and even creates love potions which is something ozzie is completely against.

I think it would be interesting if the two characters meet. If they do, i reckon ozzie would immediately kill val after finding out how awful he is.

Moths also try to look like more threatening by copying things, like faces or even "monarch" butterflies. Trying to impersonate a sin would be powerful.

There’s two types of lust
Ozzie believes in consent, Val does not, he thinks lust and sex is a game and takes advantage of it. Ozzie on the other hand thinks of lust and sex as love, a way to truly show affection to one’s partner
