about 8 momths ago I got 2015 MB S550, V8 449 BHP biturbo, with 80K miles, paid $28K, two owners, same car today would cost $170K … car is all I ever dreamed of, absolutely fantastic, and super fun to drive … at 17mpg won’t save you any money on fuel, but it’s worth it … it’s little more expensive on maintenance and service, but nothing like RR …

Luxury > Performance.

In a modern context anyway, since even a Golf GTi is fast enough for anything relevant. Real luxury though is hard to beat - that S class is just lovely.

Don't get the Land Rover/Range Rover. Even the manufacturer will be very hesitant to insure the car. Especially in the UK.
