This is one of my wife’s favorite games. We’ve played it 2, 3 and 4 player with and without expansion and absolutely love it. I just don’t know how Mr. Garfield does it.

Never did a review of this before? Very good game, I like it a lot, deeper than it looks like. Obviously it's WAY better with four players. I think the 2 players variant is well though, it give you a way to prevent the other player to get a card, also, the other player is never sure if you take the secret goal he pass to you or if you trash it. In many way, it add to the strategy.

In Jens Turn 2, she safely could have taken the carrot, because she drew it from her Pile. Rahdo would not have seen that card. Shw would have passed back 8 that were already seen. So Rahdo would know even less about what she took, possibly thinking that she kept the card she actually destroyed.

There's only one drawback - final scoring is a bit of a drag.
