This gives SUCH big "my early days of anime" nostalgia! In the days when I first learned what anime was (ca. 2000/2001), most of the stuff I was able to find easily was mech anime, like Macross, Gundam, and Appleseed (aside from the standard offerings on Toonami at the time). The song has a similar feel...even down to the "dublation"-type lyrics. I kind of like it.

Here’s an awesome theme I discovered back when I was putting together the list of Top 10 Jake Kaufman Tracks. Though space flight has been done in VR before, there’s still something appealing about Vangaurd Valkyrie’s mech-based approach to it. It seems very flashy and free-flowing, and this title theme definitely captures the feeling of freedom you’d want to experience when soaring through space. Even if the game doesn’t turn out to be great, at least it left us with another great vocal Kaufman track!
