Paint Pouring Technique | How to Create a Marbled Paint Look for Furniture & Home Decor

Dirty Pour:
Step 1) Choose 3-4 complimentary paint colors
Step 2) Mix 3 parts paint with 1 part Clear Bonding Primer
Step 3) Repeat with all colors
Step 4) Pour contents of each cup into one cup. Do not stir!
Step 5) Flip cup upsidedown on your project
Step 6) Tilt project to cover with paint
Step 7) Spritz with rubbing alcohol to create cells if desired
Step 8) Seal with Clear Coat if desired

Regular pour:
Step 1) Choose 3-4 complimentary paint colors
Step 2) Mix 3 parts paint with 1 part Clear Bonding Primer
Step 3) Repeat with all colors
Step 4) Pour colors one at a time randomly onto surface
Step 5) Tilt project to cover with paint
Step 6) Spritz with rubbing alcohol to create cells if desired
Step 7) Seal with Clear Coat if desired

The Cranberry is such a beautiful colour, I loved the direct pour. I would like to try this with my art class, but I am not sure how well it would work directly onto furniture, although direct pours are fabulous on canvas and I love to paint into them further once they are dry. I think I am going to try this paint on a mixed media large canvas! I can't wait!

Ohhhh, you guys just keep coming up with amazing things and it's wonderful! I love Fall, and would love to use "leaf-y" colours like Fresh Mustard, Rustic Charm and Devotion. Then other "seasonal" colours so I could make all four seasons to put up on my wall.
