Thanks for the Eastown shout out, we moved here in 2012 and love it! East Grand Rapids is great, but the average family will never be able to afford a home there.

East Grand Rapids is a city in its own right, not a “neighborhood” of Grand Rapids. It’s been its own entity (first a Village, then a city) for over 100 years.

"The best place to live in Grand Rapids is not in Grand Rapids". GR metro maybe, but EGR is not in GR in a very legally binding way.
