Tom Tugendhat is the latest Tory leader candidate to declare, with a front page article for The Telegraph stating that he’s ‘ready to leave the ECHR’ - despite saying otherwise just 2 years ago.

Kamal and Camilla (fresh from an eight hour lunch with the major Conservative movers and shakers) have all the latest inside information about the state of the leadership race, and ask how the ECHR has become the new fault line on the right.

Elsewhere, Ed Miliband has launched Labour’s flagship new publicly owned energy company Great British Energy - but does anyone know what it is?

Are there any English people left in the Tory party?

Until the Tories realise how far they have drifted from reality, it is irrelevant. Changing out the leader isn't going to fix any of their problems.

The no 10 cat would be the best choice. At least when he opens his mouth and makes a noise, no lies emerge.

The answer to who will be the next Tory leader? Is:
The 80% public who didn't vote for Tories in GE, DONT GIVE A DAMN.

The 'Great Replacement' is a conspiracy theory, huh?

Same band of losers that helped take the Tories down the drain.

Tugendhat is ready to leave the ECHR like David Cameron was ready to leave the EU.

Also... what has North Sea Oil got to do with self-sufficiency? When oil companies pull it out of the seabed they don't hand it over... the OWN it. And it goes to whoever pays the most for it as with any other commodity. That's politics 101. Dear God... I remember when the Telegraph was a good newspaper. Am I getting old? :(

I thought when they finally found Sunak hiding underneath Truss in the leadership barrel that it was empty. I guess they all jump back in after an election.

Suella braverman is honestly one of the most pitiful characters British politics has ever produced. Dedicating her whole life to appealing to racists who will NEVER accept her 🤣

I love the Telegraph, its such a mediocre little right wing rag of a paper. Its fun to see them run around trying to be relevant and failing completely.

The problem with net zero, there is a third of people who can't afford to change their boiler, or install solar panels or an air source pump. Or buy a hybrid or electric car. We are in a cost of living crisis, get real.

Braverman must take that leap of faith and join Reform, the tory very much like Blair's Labour is dead, surely she must realise this

The fact the question is even asked in your video 'Why has Braverman blown up?' shows how out-of-touch with reality the Telegraph has become. Any reasonable journalist would just say 'Braverman has blown up, obviously' and move on.
