Check out this ACTUAL SIMULATOR of a WW2 Destroyer

The game is a hardcore simulation and very difficult, but when you land that depth charge strike, it is oh so satisfying! Try it.
In Destroyer: The U-Boat Hunter you control the escorts of a convoy in World War 2, protecting the merchant ships from enemy submarines. In this simulation you have to ise historically accurate instruments to locate the submerged vessels and crush them with depth charges, which is pretty damn difficult to pull off.

The Apple II had a game like this called Destroyer. It was really fun and it’s glad to see a modern version of this in existence.

There is also the game Wolfpack, where the roles are switch : you play a U-boat and your goal is to sunk convoys without being destroyed by the destroyers.
And you actually play a crewman at the first person and have to walk to different part of the submarine to use different instruments, fire, identify types of ships...

1.) Can you ram the subs or your own allies?
2.) Can you shoot your own allies?
3.) Can you have your fellow destroyers shoot at you?
4.) Do the subs ever fire at you?

This game looks very accurate, even the targeting systems and the ones to extimate the enemy's position, it seems some good research went behind it and I approve of this, would love to see a similar thing but from the Sub perspective

Hi Taureor, there was also 'Destroyer Command' game on PC released in 2002, and what more interesting it had option in multiplayer to play with players of Silent Hunter (submarine sim).

And, honestly, the only thing that could make it better was if it had cross play multiplayer with a Silent Hunter game.
