You can! Matching the finish of your bath lights with your bathroom hardware, such as the faucet, is a great way to achieve a cohesive aesthetic. But it’s really up to your personal preference! A recent trend is to mix and match colors for a spectrum of style.

A better way to look at it is, how do I best light my bathroom? When using your vanity or looking into the mirror, your face should be brightly and evenly lit. There are a few ways to go about achieving this, and the method will be different for everyone!

You can use a pair of lights on either side of the vanity, or place a single long bath bar over the mirror. For larger vanities or bathrooms, use both! You will also want the more general room lighting that comes from a ceiling light. One overhead and one above the vanity at least, but you can always add more for larger bathrooms.
