Ive been using Nova Launcher, faster than light, selections for years. I run a business off of my phone. I constantly need to switch screens and keep up with customers request as they talk. ANY lag/delay is a problem. I was using the HD mode on my older phones because speed is more important than looks to me. But, with the Note 9 and these new options to beast mode it, I am now on FHD. No need to max out screen pixels.The human eye cant tell anyway (unless you get really close to the phone). This is by far the fastest phone Ive owned. Biggest built in storage (got the 128gb not the 512 one) Only 6ram vs 8 but i dont play games. All my apps are business related, I barely hit 3gbram. plus if you have google photos, you get unlimited storage. I have an SD card installed (also 128) installed just in case and because ive owned it for years. This phone will make this so much easier for me. The money spent will be made back and gray hairs will come to a full stop. Lastly, you cant get the most out of your phone if you don't buy the ZeroLemon 10, 000 battery. Some say its too big etc... But thats what everyone said about the first, 2nd and 3rd generation notes (you guys remember im sure) and then what happened? Everyone started making big ass phones. The mega battery pack means you have 12, 5000 mah. Trust me on this, ive owned the 10k zerolemons since the note 3. They do not cause any problems, they actually make the phone feel solid and easier (after you get used to it) to grip. Going back to a naked note feels weird.


Forgot to mention, to anyone still reading and in a similar Business Use situation. To those that do not care about the fancy graphics, etc.. Google a black background (dont take a black picture) and use it as your background. It will save you a ton of battery life since those pixle lights are not being used up. I put ALL my backgrounds black (not webpages thought). Havent figrued out how to make the texting backgrounds black yet though. I think pitch black looks bad ass anyway. Performance over Looks is a winner in biz.

You don't need an app to fully disable Bixby. Just do all that you did but also go to developer options and scroll down to "Background check". Then turn off Bixby voice and voice wake up.

I love the Google keyboard (GBoard) cuz you can translate directly into another language right on the keyboard. I text a lot of Spanish speaking friends and GBoard is perfect for it.
