LIVE | Prashant Kishor On Rahul Gandhi | Should Rahul Gandhi Take A Break? | PK Interview
Political strategist Prashant Kishor has suggested that Rahul Gandhi should consider stepping back if the Congress does not get the desired results in the Lok Sabha polls. In an interaction with news agency PTI, he said Gandhi, for all practical purposes, is running his party and has been unable to either step aside or let somebody else steer the Congress despite his inability to deliver in the last 10 years.

PK's take on bjp / Modi is very sensible and practical, of late. He is trying to give you the impression that he has the real insight of the bjp and all the politics of India.

But however bad PK wants, he will not be able to dislodge Modi/ bjp. That's his ulterior motive. He left Modi after 2014, mainly becoz Modi did not give him a free run as he would have liked in the administration.

Summing up PK, Firstly, PK had his first taste of successes [ 2014 national elections ] with the intent that was of Modi's. Anyone at that point would have become a 'pk'. Perhaps It wasn't PK's strategic wisdom / strength, which he himself thinks it was.
PK is perhaps living in a fools paradise.
Bengals' victory largely was from fear/ wrath of the ruling party rather than any positive strategic planning.

Secondly the Congress has managed to cut its feet thinking its winning becoz of minority appeasement, combined with hindu bashing for 75 plus years to back it up and endorse.
In fact Modi was only the last straw, that broke Congress.
Complete apathy for public and endorsing only princely dynastic principles out of complete arrogance. Congress has played its cards. PK's 2014 strategic planning was hardly required to finish off congress. It had it coming.

Later, PK took many shots at congress to find his political break. He wanted his say in every matter. But for a voter who had tasted Modi's administration, why would one want to give a chance, even to a party full of the likes of pks under Congress, or even by another name, that pk wants to form at a basic level in bihar?

PK feels hurt like a wounded tiger. Wants to bite the system around him, only to catapult himself on the political scene for some relevance. He roams around bihar, pleading that the society should determine its own way first, knowing and prioritizing its self interests. He conveniently forgets our own history when our culture was at its peak. Everyone had only looked for their self interests then. That's precisely why foreign invaders could easily destroy our culture, even though the invaders were less educated, or less rich, or even less in numbers.
He says a 'pulwama' is not what will change the society. On the contrary, A 'Pulwama' is necessary for self defence.
He says 'Ram mandir' will not earn bread for the society.
On the contrary, a 'Ram mandir' is necessary for uniting the highly oppressed and handicapped society shreded into a vicious caste divisions. Perhaps the survival of such a society, could only then, be insured.

PK is more dangerous than AK, becoz he deliberately spreads a wrong and confusing message. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
PK is politically more smart than AK.
Unfortunately India has a large population that could still be manipulated becoz of compulsive needs or inherent insecurity, and Modi is himself vulnerable in many ways, and PK's bluff could prevail wisdom, and pk's logic/magic still might work. Congress will also have to live up to its dirty tricks, to have a go at the power yet again. Both of them combined could look for a chance eventually, in case bjp faltered.

So far uptill now, pk is absolutely out of sync with Modi, mamta doesn't need him now, and even Rahul wants him at a pole's distance, as of today.

Pk had little option but to go his own way, find his stage, find his audience, and cross fingers that something goes wrong for Modi/ bjp, and to hope and snatch the opportunity, if it comes in any eventuality.

Prashant Bhai: Pls recognize the fact that all the opposition alliance partners are concentrating on appeasing "Muslim votes", which are their captive voters, but this trend is changing lately. Please for once at least analyze muslim friendly efforts and rules/laws created/made by RJD, Congress, SP TMC etc.
