This is actually difficult to watch. Your can almost feel the grief and sadness, and the song just puts the cap on this scene. One of the saddest moments in television history.

No matter how many times you watch this. You can't help but feel the emotions each and every time. It may just be a television show to some. But to us fans. You couldn't help but feel like you were a part of the show and family of it. Hints the emotions that hit you when you watch this scene and many others. To me. Sons Of Anarchy will go down as the best damn television show in history. Kurt Sutter was a genius in making this show. I only hope to see that his vision of The First 9. And whatever the spin off of Able & Thomas being a part of it comes to light at some point.

This scene is one of the saddest things I've ever seen, and Jax's eyes when he closes the doors on the hearse is full of revenge and anger.

In that outlaw lifestyle you always have one foot in the grave and one foot in jail. Opie sacrificed everything for a club that never did shit for him.

Imagine the guilt Jax must feel. When Ope wanted out, it was Jax who talked him into staying and as a result both Opie and Donna died. Jax never saw things from his perspective because he didn't have a family. The irony is that once Jax had a family of his own, he wanted out for the exact same reason.

I still cry, I’m crying now. I’ve lost one my best friends from childhood and seeing this makes me think of the amazing times we had. Not his death. But that he’s watching over me.

My husband was so devastated over this he couldn't even start watching the next episode, let alone finish that SEASON, for like 2 months. Opie was his favorite on SoA. I had to brow beat him into finishing that season and the rest of the series. Took me a while, too. I understand why though, Opie's death was so unexpected and sad.

It took six pallbearers to move the casket. Phil took the back, Tig and Happy took the left, and Bobby, Chibs and Juice took the right as Jax lead them all out to the hearse.

The moment Jax closed the door to the hearse you could see the shift in his energy. It went from trying to do right thing to I don't care anymore.

a lot of people don’t see how much opies death shook jax. If you watch the episode before it you can see the difference. By the episode after this one he slowly each episodes becomes darker and darker
