We decided to drop by Tokyo Japan and build a tiny gaming system.

Play some Minecraft on the Dawid Does Minecraft server courtesy of our friends at Linode!
It works on Java version 1.19.3

Dawid being Kawai in Hello Kitty in front of the G-wagon at the end was the best

the fact that dawid is making those pc building noises in a hotel is hilarious. can you imagen being in the next room and hearing "AHHH ITS FINALY IN" after minutes of questionable sounds.

I ran into Dawid and Anna in the Akihabara Bic Camera while they were filming this! The first time I have ever seen a Youtuber out in the wild. This video is making me want to go back to Japan already. Dawid it was really nice to meet you and Anna, thanks for taking a break from filming to chat :)

20:22 The reaction of the guy in the car behind Dawid seeing him wear the hello kitty Razer headphones with that pose is priceless. Great video dude. It's amazing that such a small ITX pc can become a capable gaming pc.

I laughed so hard when he said that it's a shame that the Spiderman theme was on the 4060 TI. 😂

The case you see at 6:19 is a limited edition Hakos Baelz Hyte Y60. She’s an Aussie VTuber part of the English Branch of HoloLive, so something like that definitely would be expensive lol (but many, including me, would love one..)

Linode being called Akamai, which sounds like a peak shounen anime name, is fitting for a vid set in Japan.

EDIT: 6:13 - Heh, didn't expect to run into a certain chaos rat in a Dawid vid.

Having lived in Japan for over 15 years, let me tell you that everything here is either extremely expensive or extremely underpowered and old unless you order it online.
Also, i am sure Dawid doesn't read this, but for anyone that does, Japan has extremely strict privacy laws and filming in stores, restaurants, transportation, and people without consent (and blurring people's faces) can actually get your camera confiscated by police and a fine up to (~$1000) over their portrait/privacy laws. Since Dawid is making money from this YouTube video and if he didn't ask for consent, he can get fined by the government and sued by any of the stores and people of they find out.

For some reason I was happy to see that Bae case lol. And the tiny pc you've managed to build looks great too!

the handle on the case box is really smart anyone who held something by these kind of straps knows the pain of it digging into your hand and in japan most people will be taking the train so they'll be holding onto it for a long time so i appreciate the QoL improvment ...

I saw someone that looks just like you walking around Asakasa by the river last week but I thought I was imaging things. Turns out I actually did see you! This video shows exactly why I bought a gaming laptop before I moved to Tokyo, the PC prices here are terrible.

To me it's already mind boggling to see shops and stores with this stuff. 90% here is all online webshops. The few that are left are just a couple of stubborn old people or big chains that sell TVs and appliances as well.

I use this same case for my mini-ITX build. I replaced the feet on the bottom with some taller feet, and it helps with GPU temperatures and was a very cheap modification.

I then took the existing feet and used them to screw in the tempered glass panel on the bottom of the motherboard. So now I can use the PC in horizontal mode as well. For day to day usage there is no thermal difference, but when I am using a high GPU workload I get better thermals when I lay the PC on the side. It simply lets more air get to the GPU.

The case itself is super durable, I traveled halfway around the world with it and never had any issues with my PC from airlines handling. It can even fit in carry on luggage, so that helps. When I take it through airport security I always get strange looks though.

as a japanese viewer, I am planning my first computer build this year and my wallet is CRYING when I see prices for parts like GPUs here in Japan compared to places like the US. please keep making videos like this one, i really enjoyed it!
