There is not really a gigantic improvement, but a very noticeable difference is the Colour, the iPhone 6 Plus has a higher contrast I believe. I do believe however you will not really be missing out on much if you don't upgrade from an iPhone 5S to a 6 Plus.

iPhone 6 is clearly better when it comes to night shots, daytime shots also look a little bit more detailed than the 5s too.

This one I can definitely see the differences more than the video. It is still subtle, but impressive.

shadow area has improved a lot...even barrel distortion .. wow.

It's not a huge difference but I can tell that the 6 plus has more depth of field and a more realistic look to it, I think they both look great.

First I love the composition on each photo, great job!
Second I'm maybe wrong, but I've to say that some differences in the contrasts and on the low lights photos aside, I really don't see major differences between the two!

The major difference is when the phones zoom into the picture for enlargement. iPhone 6 plus destroys the 5s at that, the 6 plus still comes out clear at max zoom while the 5s comes out blurry.

certainly less noise in low light on the 6, Seems to me and it could be a personal preference but the 6 looks a tad on the warm side

A good improvement on the dynamic range. Slight improvement on lowlight shots. I don't see anything else.

thanks Blunty, , just what i needed, i was wondering if the 6plus would photo performing better, and i think it does, more clearity and better natural colors (imho)

The difference is minuscule, however if your blowing up pictures then this becomes greater significance.

They seem pretty equally matched. Yeah here and there the 6 Plus did slightly better but by no means was the 5S terrible.

How is the exif data on both images? Are they using the same shutter speed and ISO, or is the 6+ using a slightly slower shutter speed and lower ISO? From the sample images it seems to expose to the right as compared to the 5s, and it will be interesting to see if it can do that while maintaining a lower or similar ISO and shutter speed.

Slightly better going from my 5s to my 6 not as big as I expected

hmm to me it looks like 5s is more saturated than the 6. night time photo 6 is brighter on dark places and less grainy too
