Just hope everything goes well with Matt Reeves’ personal life. I also hope they get to filming The Batman 2 soon but I don’t want the script to be compromised as a result. The Batman and The Penguin set the bar so high that it’d be a huge shot to the leg if The Batman 2 is lacklustre. The actors are getting old as well, 5 years between movies is pretty insane. Pattinson was supposed to basically be a year 2 Batman but he’ll look like kingdom come Batman by the time they get to filming.

Atp WB needs to give the okay to James Gunn for having two active Batmen. I truly feel for Reeves but one movie shouldn’t delay others. ESPECIALLY if it’s not in the same continuity. As far as casting for DCU Batman I hope it’s Alan Ritchson (Battichson)or another swole actor

I can’t shake the idea of Alan Ritchson in the role. The guy has the perfect combination of physicality, intensity, and emotional depth to bring Bruce Wayne/Batman to life. His work in Reacher shows he can do the brooding, intelligent, and brutal vigilante thing without missing a beat.

He’s got that square-jawed, comic-accurate look, and let’s be real he can pull off the suit and the billionaire persona. Plus, he’s not too mainstream yet, which makes him a fresh but proven choice.

Anyone else think he deserves a shot at the cowl? Or am I just crazy?
