That is not okay, and I'm glad she told her sister to let the cousin know that. In Rae's place I would have not gone to the birthday party citing safety concerns, and that would have been my gentle lesson to the cousin that selling her family member on the internet without consent has consequences.
I'm sorry if I was supposed to find this funny, but I find it concerning that someone as old as twelve years old would already pull something like that without telling Rae. She had to have learned it from somewhere, so I really hope Rae is careful about boundaries with her family...
