Lionel Richie wrote this song for Kenny! So He had a song written for him by Lionel Richie and a song written for him by the Bee Gees. The Bee Gees wrote Islands In The Stream for him and Dolly Parton.

The Bee Gees also sang Islands In The Stream as well.

Kenny was unfair to all other men. He had that voice, that handsome face...and that HAIR. That hair was supernatural...like his voice. It was thick, it was gorgeous white (not gray ). He was unnecessarily sexy.

This song is OFF THE CHARTS. I can't imagine a female not wanting this level passion, devotion, loyalty, you name it, in her man! Kenny rocks this like no one can. I can definitely tell Lionel Richie wrote it though - Lionel is so distinct with his lyrics - really comes from the heart. He was the first person I ever saw in concert - I was in the 6th grade! Love 'em both!

My friend and I were in High School in the late 80s, and saw Kenny sing this song live. We were at the bottom of the stage literally at his feet. Goosebumps. (We were also the only teenagers there)
