The reason they are all from Chengzhao, or whatever it was, is because China is not like USA their warehouse/companies are placed into different regions based on what they make/sell, so electric machines are all in one region, and idk wood products would be in another, and metal companies in another. So basically, what im saying is pretty much all, if not ALL the companies will have that Chengzhao or whatever the name is. So thats another red flag if you buy off Alibaba and the company is not from that region, it would be a red flag to me, there is lots of videos on what to look for when buying from Alibaba. Another guys channel, Volted Adventures, i think, dont quote me, i believe i saw it on his channel, he got his bike from Alibaba and he does a whole in depth video on how and what he looked for. This video is basically the same thing just shorter.

This category of bikes needs to fkn drop 40% in price on everything. Spend 5k for a surron then to make it more enjoyable you have to spend another 3k or whatever AND by then, its now its an illegal bike. Imagine.

You americans have the luxury that a E ridepro ss excist atleast. They dont ship those to Europe and the only website i have seen that sells them here have a 7500$+ price tag btw.

2025 needs to be the year they will flood the market with new bikes like this for way less money.

your alibaba seller will likely try to sell you a bike with a SCRATCHED/Replaced VIN. Be aware you wont be able to register if thats the case.

The issue with Alibaba Surron's isn't necessarily scams.
The issue is they can't be registered easily at all here in Europe (nor the US I imagine?).

I don't know the details on that in the US. But in Europe getting the bike registered and legal to ride on the street is a huge pain when it already has a registration number from China. (i bet it's possible but don't ask me how, nor what that would cost).

So want to ride off-road only / illegally on the street? Sure it's a steal! Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it and atleast get informed ahead of time.

(I was looking to buy a Ultra Bee on alibaba, the seller literally told me it would not be able to get registered in Belgium. I don't know whether it is fully impossible, but I'm confident it would cost me more to figure out and handle compared to what I'd save.)

Ebikes are more fun and cheaper to build and you can take it to more places. My modded ebike will do 60 and has left many of these in the dust for a fraction of the cost. They do look cool though.
