I love that you explain things so thoroughly and don’t feel like you need to ‘change it up’ all the time. Although I’ve now lost the weight I wanted to, I still regularly watch these types of videos and listen to your podcast to keep me on track 🙌🏼

I really love how you explain things! In the past year I took up hydroponic gardening, mostly indoors, it’s really made eating veggies more convenient. There’s expensive garden towers and everything, but really I started off with a little Aerogarden for around $100. I never have to go buy lettuce, microgreens, and herbs. I have tomatoes, peppers, and cucumbers coming in.

2 day Prep is key for me.
My current staple ingredients :
Potatoes, carrots, zucchinis, vanilla rice protein, hemp protein, chia, flax, TJ can coconut cream/milk, stevia, seasonings, MCT
Fasting!!!!
Always have a filling soup made, cooked potatoes. Starting to prep more for our freezer.
Hopefully adding avocado soon. I’m retraining my gut/microbiome after a severe intestinal dysfunction dysbiosis. It’s slow but my brain is recovering which was the worst part. All praise to God He is healing me everyday. 🙌🏼

Makes perfect sense - clear and concise. We’ve been told so many things over the years about foods to avoid, one of those has been potatoes so when I first saw you and other vegan YouTubers stack up on potatoes (carbs) my initial reaction was that can’t be right 🤔 but I see now that it’s ok how you and others present it (and back it up) so thanks for that 👍

I am so weary of starting over and over to lose just 15 pounds. This made me realize the problem is cheating all the time and telling myself those few calories here or there don't count. Improvement rather than perfection really helps. I will work on my pantry and fridge to remove the triggers. Thanks!

Thank you for talking about calorie deficit. A lot of vegans who eat hclf refuse to talk about it and it leads to confusion and frustration when their followers are trying to lose weight. They act like the 50/50 plate is magic, not calorie dilution that leads to a calorie deficit.

Great information!! I love how you focus on the spectrum of progress vs perfection. Up until recently I would “mess up” and binge for a day or two, feel defeated. I had zero tolerance for any slip ups and would be very extreme in my diet attempts. WFPB lifestyle is just that, a lifestyle. Very satisfying food that leaves me feeling so much better. Thanks for clearly outlining a path for continued, healthy growth.

Love this! You make it sound so simple with how you explain things. I have lost 15kg and have around 15kg to go mainly eating starches and whole foods. I am sharing weight loss my journey on YT to keep myself accountable. My focus is on health and getting fit. Thank you 🚴‍♀️💕🥔

So I feel a bit stupid but the biggest aha-moment I had watching this video, was that I need to build my improved habits brick by brick. Not to expect to change it all at once. It feels like common sense, but apparently it had not sunk in until now. Thank you for talking about this.
