PURITY/PH TEST OF 11 POPULAR BOTTLED WATER (UK)

This was a very tricky and time consuming test to do. Hope it benefits you as it did me.
I did a pH and purity test of popular brands like Volvic/Evian/Highlands/Subway/KFC/Aldi etc.

Off course there are other factors involved, this test does not claim to be all encompassing.

For those screaming for zam2 water. He lives in the UK. Mecca is not next door. I'm sure zam2 water was the one that crossed his mind before doing this experiment, but since the conditon is not permissible, well you gt the picture. Love love love the contents from this channel. Beneficial and productive for us Muslims. I've stopped watching other less informative channels and realized how life is short and should be valued more by learning new, good knowledge from channels like smile2jannah.

There's no need to even test Zamzam water. It's already been tested on, and it's the purest water you'll find on Earth. End of quote.

I LOVE THESE TESTS!!! Jazakallahu khairan for doing this, and please do more!

Having a pH that is too high is also dangerous

Water is supposed to have a ph of 7 as it’s supposed to be neutral. Anything a little above (alkaline) or below (acid) is okay but you really want your water to be neutral because that means there’s nothing in there that shouldn’t be. So Volvic was actually the best.

Isn't water supposed to have a pH of 7?

Thank you for doing this brother. Would you mind talking about the fluoride found in water and toothpaste and it’s possibly detrimental health effects?

Brothers and sisters be aware of someone calling himself " dawah man " who is constantly telling everyone that zamzam water is bad for health in this comment section. This is an unfounded statement and has been proven to be stupid and wrong. Please ignore the person who is very likely non Muslim and wants to talk nonsense.

I really liked your testing skills. ;) Now check this, my dad had an issue with kidney stones and doctor told him not to drink bottled water. What he told him to do, which he does until now, is boil tap water and let it sit then put them in glass bottles in the fridge. I'd really appreciate if you could give that a test and let us know. My dad no longer has kidney stones.... so maaaaybeeee...

Anywho, if you do test it out, I'd love to know what your results are! Cheers mate! Love your humor and smile to Jannah! Jazaak Allah kheer 😆

from a scientific perspective you falsified the test results by using the machine in a way in which u directly took it out from one fluid sample and put it directly into the next one. You still have residue from the previous sample which of course has an influence on the upcoming/next scan. I'm not entirely sure how much that might affect the overall quality of your test, however if I remember correctly, especially in regards to conductivity it's important to clean the device. Of course these might just be tiny details. Anyways, great video brother, keep informing us and may allah bless you! as salamu aleikum wa rahmatullah

@Smile 2 Jannah.... I watched another video about fanta. Your efforts to understand what we eat are commendable. But there are fundamental flaws with your understanding. Here are some of my scientific criticisms

1. Saying water has a memory is a wishy washy metaphor. What does it mean. Do you mean water remembers its past state? Which part of it? Under what conditions? What do you mean by remember? Be careful of falling into the homeopathic trap.

2. You are saying two potentially contradictory statements with regards to pH and conductivity. pH is based on the dissociation of OH and H ions in water. Typically a pH of 7 means that the water is neutral in this dissociation. As the water alkalinity increases the dissolved ions are likely to increase in water. So for instance salt will dissociate into Na and Cl ions making the solution more alkaline based on the attractive force of ions of water and NaCl. However if you want the least conductive solution you want to reduce dissolved ions in solution thus you want distilled and deionized water. However an increased alkalinity may imply an increase in ions and a reduction in conductivity. So you are stuck in your definition of healthy. Should it be more alkaline or less conductive brecause you can't really have them both easily. You need to define what makes water healthy or unhealthy.

3. I had a brief look at some articles about alkaline water. The jury is out on whether it is healthy or not. Healthiness would have to be dependant on the particular person. For instance if you have a gastro intestinal problem such as heartburn. Then you want a high alkaline substance to reduce the acidity of your stomach. If for instance you want to do nasal cleaning, you want to try a maintain the pH conditions of your nasal passage while reducing the chance of infection. So you want a pH that's a little higher than neutral. Generally, it sems that there is agreement that distilled water is alright for drinking. But often ions are added to water (e.g. Mg) to ensure that drinkers get some minimum amount of nutritional substances that the body cannot manufacture on its own. These then take the role of being used in biochemical processes for body repair and regulation. If the ratio gets too high the effect can lead to problems such as dehydration. If they get too low they can lead to problems in ion transport for things like neuron firing.

Im not a chemist so please take my analysis with a pinch of salt and correct me as needed. However as a scientist and a muslim, I really encourage muslim viewers to start the process of learning the actual science. Its like a desert out there. Why are there so few muslims doing science? These questions have been extensively discussed by the scientific community why not engage? @Smile 2 Jannah, your analysis is a bit dodgy (as you said) but you are asking good questions and trying to engage. Its really nice to see some people in the muslim community moving in this direction.

I think Volvic has a green lid because it's neutral and all the others are blue lids because they're more alkaline
