Spring Statement: Russia's invasion of Ukraine poses risk to UK's economic recovery

The Chancellor says the UK has a "moral responsibility" to use its economic strength to help Ukraine, through both economic and humanitarian aid and sanctions against Russia.

But in opening his Spring Statement, Rishi Sunak warned the actions taken against Russia are not "cost-free" and present a "risk to our recovery".
