Can YOU Drive a VW Grand California? | Cali Chris

At first, it might seem like a great idea to get a VW Grand California; extra room, a shower and toilet, a huge comfortable bed. But all of those extras come with added weight to the vehicle and you might not be able to drive it without an update to your driving licence!

Note: This doesn't apply to VW California Ocean, VW California Coast or VW California Beach because they're much lighter and you can drive them on the normal driving licence that you have for a car.

Hi Chris, is there a published list for the weights of the various options available to the G600? We were speccing a 3.5T up recently but were surprised that while a dealer quoted us on the vehicle, when it came to order we found it was over weight but they couldn't tell us which options weighed what and how best to get it under the limit other than spending a long time doing trial and error. Thanks
