Cops should be held accountable and should have no immunity if a builder is a bad builder the house falls down the builder is held into account a cop should also be held accountable then we would have equality. . . All cops should pass a syc evaluation 1 a year and not be on any medication for anger or anxiety problems . If they cant do it then they dont deserve a decent pention . . . Cops have to start following the same rules everyone else does . Until then we will have no trust in the rule of law nor the police

Please add to this bill increase in police training and mandate reasonable continuing education for them. Also employ Social Workers, Counselors, and Psychiatrists on each Police call as team members to work side by side with Police Officers.

Politicians should have taken care of this policing problem long ago. Politicians are ineffective in their jobs and that's why both elected and selected need to be rated annually by the general public and given a report card evaluation by the public and then removed for failing to fix problems. The people need to play a more active role in rating politicians job performances since they are supposed to represent the people. They should also have to step down after 2 terms no questiins asked and no life long pensions. This current system is rediculous. Community problems need to be fixed in a more efficient and a more effective way.

Didn’t see it addressed but a big problem that is systemically creating a cycle of criminality is bail bondsmen and civil forfeiture. It’s legalized robbery where a 50$ ticket can lead to a 2, 000$ fine and 60 day jail time that cost more money and poor people get put through the ringer for being poor and likely living in the poor parts of town where good folks and lumped in with the systemic problems where crime is a way of life to survive. Why spend billions of dollars on prisons when we could use that money to help these neighborhoods at the root of the problem? Why isn’t it a problem addressed before? Because of evil capitalism that preys on the vulnerable and nobody questions it but the underclass and those without a voice. But together we have the loudest voice thru civil discourse and finally the people with money are upset and things are moving. Now will it last? That’s up to us and our resolve. I believe this is our time and change is in the hearts of all good Americans so I finally have faith, but politics and the election is one hurdle we need to address as a priority before the government can unite under common sense laws, but not under this president! Vote this November if you want change America, vote!

That’s not just the problem the bigger issue probably the core of the problem and still haven’t heard anyone talking about it is ; that the more experienced are the Veterans/leaders have complete control of the culture/Narrative that is already established before the new recruit is putting to the equation of policing .
new recruits are going to follow suit into whatever culture is already in place no veteran is going to listen to a new recruit because the new recruit is inexperienced even if the new recruit is by the book. What’s going to end up happening is that new recruit is going to be out casted by the already intertwined well-positioned veterans which is what leads new recruits to quit their job or and worst case is commit suicide depending on the severity or how deep the new recruit situation is.
Police work together to make sure to back each other up so they form clicks to secure their jobs.
That’s where that saying comes from : “the blue wall of silence”

This is why we had 12 whistle blower police officers that expose the very same thing I’m talking aboutAnd it was not easy for them to do they not only risk their careers but their livelihood on an every day basis
