My father took me to see The Return of the King at the cinema when I was a kid. That was the first and last time I saw him cry.

I consider myself a very lucky person. In fact, I consider everyone who had the opportunity to go to the cinema in December in 2001, 2002, and 2003 to witness this masterpiece extremely fortunate. I remember it being an event, theaters filled, and, most importantly, complete silence during the screenings. Everyone was there for the movies, for the thrill of following that story year after year. I vividly recall that feeling, knowing that it would happen again in next December, until the last part. And now, 20 years after "The Return of the King, " I am a different person. I have a little daughter now, and I'm counting the years until she's old enough for us to watch them together. I can't wait to revisit the films with her (curiously, I haven't rewatched them since seeing them in the cinema). Oh, if I can pass to her even a small fraction of what that feeling was like... That's why I say, for everyone here who had the chance to see these films in theaters, at the end of those years, oh... you are very lucky! If something in life bothers you, remember, "I saw The Lord of the Rings in theaters! Year after year!"

I dont normally comment nice things and to be honest i didnt consider myself a nice person, ive hated life and everyone in it for as long as i can remember until right now. The only thing that brought me solice was lord of the rings because its what me and my dad would listen to, hes been gone years now and i havent even watched the movies in 4 years. I just did a hobbit and lord of the rings marathon and for the first time in years and i felt like my dad was here with me all because of a lofi mix on YouTube that i took a chance on listening too. And like life itself, its all about taking chances and risks, and so i say to whomever reads this, life does get better just try your best and always remember, " all you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us." Twenty years ago this month my older brother came home from college and we saw the Return of the King in theaters. He was a freshman and I was a Junior in high school. We've had a lot of life since then and the first few minutes of this really pulls in the feels.

I quite enjoyed the first lofi mix, it engaged my mind and made me long to kind of life worthy of Gandalf's story hour.
