Mike said nipples!! Quick call the PC police. Only kidding and youre defiantly right, it is better to protect your nipples.

aah yes Gunisons Easy Bleed .. after a few problems i pressurised mine with the inner tube from a wheel-barrow at about 5 PSI .. 20 years later it's still my preferred method .. Plan B is usually reverse bleeding using an oil can & length of Nylon tubing

I used a Gunson easy bleed to bleed the brakes on my air cooled 911. The entire container of fluid vanished but didn’t drop onto the floor. I finally found all of the fluid sitting behind the pedal box being slowly absorbed by my nice new carpet! It went straight in the bin!

I have a Gunsons eezibleed and the first time I used it I connected it to the front tyre and yes, brake fluid everywhere. Then I did something no man ever does, I read the instructions. Grabbed one of the old wheels from the truck and let the tyre down to the pressure stated in the instructions. No more leaking fluid. Used it several times since with no problems. But, watching your video has got me thinking as to whether I could put together some sort of jury rig and make use of the pump from my water pressure testing kit 🤔

I've just done the same job, and indeed bought a Gunsons eezy bleed, have to say it's pretty good for £16, no leaks on mine, your idea would have saved me a few quid though. 👍

Wow! You must have a mega backlog of videos Mike! That's how many every day so far?
Not complaining, absolutely love your channel and your videos.👍👍👏👏👏

That's excellent Mike. Iv got a Morris Traveller aswell as the landy. Couldn't get decent brakes at all after rebuilding it. So bought the gun son's one for £9 in toolstation with a ripped box. Yes it leaks fluid everywhere aswell even at 10psi. But the brakes have been great since. Might be using your idea now tho.

Hi Mike,

Hope you are well.
Didt realize how short you were until i saw you topping up the fluid... hahahaha. Just jokes. You need that beverage company to sponsor you...
Ive done that last time i took the landy out. Driving up the driveway in 1st low and came to stand on the pedal and it went to the floor. Quick few pumps and fine. Some poo came out at first but realized and had plenty space.

Thanks again and some good tips

Regards,
Paul

"Have fun", you said it Mike, bleeding the "bleeding brakes" is definitely a fun job, all made easier by the BR pressure bleed device.

I’ve now ordered some Jameson’s because you bang on about it all the time 😀
Better be good.

Here's one I learned with motorbikes, a large syringe with brake fluid and send it backwards through the bleed.. Great for a defender clutch..

I use a stag tools pressure bleeder, exactly the same princple as the Gunson (which I had problems with leaky caps too) but much better cap design and the fluid bottle has a magnet in the base so it stays up right. Was about 15 quid in the U.K. a few years ago

Must change the brake fluid in my fiat, it looks like Guinness. I do like your bleeder so I'll see if I can make one

I have got one of them bleed kits u where talking about... They work brilliant but i had to make a fitting for it to attach to a reg on my compressor to turn it down as it would blow the cap off when using the tire pressure as they say in the picture book for it.

Take one hoselock herbicide pump pressure sprayer, attach an airtool fitting on the end of the hose using a jubilee clip, then drill a hole through a plastic brake/clutch master lid-find a nut for the fitting-tighten up the nut then ¾ fill the pump reservoir with brake fluid fit the pump mechanism to the reservoir and attach brake master lid to the brake/clutch master pump half a dozen times and bleed the brakes/clutch, I’ve been using this for 10 + years and it never leaks plus I don’t have to keep topping up the master cylinder either.

And on caliper bleed screw you put pipe that you put it in botle. So you dont have oil on the flor. Cheers Mike🥃
