Gadaffi was far from perfect, definitely a flawed leader. But it did not warrant a violent revolutionary coup and funding mercenaries. We all know the real reason he was assassinated anyway. I don't like his political theory or his systems, but he had some good ideas and had a country in order. Now that it's overrun by crisis, poverty, rape, jihadists and an open slave trade, where is the US? Surely if it was so concerned with human rights abuses, it would be all over Libya now?
Despite my criticisms of him and his country, I would live in Gadaffi's Libya before the USA in a heartbeat.

I'm Egyptian I remember back in the days before 2011 lot of Egyptians used to travel and work there in Libya including my father that has lived and worked there for long time it's very sad what happened to this country after the civil war now Egypt is way better and safer than Libya nowadays
