How Breah found her place at UWEC through LGBTQIA+ inclusivity

Breah was immediately drawn to UW-Eau Claire because of its high ranking for LGBTQIA+ inclusivity. Here, she felt not only accepted but celebrated. She felt less of a need to identify herself and that she could just be the person she is. One of her favorite days of the year is the National Coming Out Day celebration on the campus mall. This feel-good event is all about community and making sure you feel loved and supported.
