I'd be pretty undecided too on it, would make me feel pretty self-conscious every time I went for a ride, but think of it this way, at least people that didn't see you before on your little Navi, they'll definitely *hear* you! 😃

mikes.

Literally put one on today. It’s loud for sure. Is it worth the money? I’d say yes. Sound, looks, weight, performance was improved. Stock topped out at 48mph. With the Yoshimura pipe I felt more pep off the line and hit 53 mph today on flat ground. I’m 6’1” 187lbs. I was not fully tucked and no windscreen. I Put the silencer in tonight. Will try tomorrow.

I'm having flashbacks of modding my Ruckus 15 years ago.... It might seem crazy expensive and pointless but at the time, it was a lot of fun. I miss that bike (not the lack of power though).

Silence with good performance is KING, — I’ll use the $500 for funding my riding adventures. THANKs for CVT and shock mod vids, they RULE THE Day !!!

Currently saving up for a Navi! Currently half way there. I'm so excited!
Yoshi pipes sounds so good! 😎👌

I like the Yoshi pipe on it and I’m glad to see I’m not the only lunatic who parks his bike in the living room 😂

I'd go back to stock or see if they have a different silencer because the pipe looks really good on the Navi. Those little single thumpers have a sound to them that is hard to make better. They tune the sound so good in house that aftermarkets usually don't pan out too well unless you want to wear earplugs every time you ride.

Not going to lie, your videos convinced me to get a Navi! Using it as a commuter for a 6-mile round trip. I also wanted to keep things quiet, as I live in an urban area and don't want to piss off my neighbors. Guess I'll be leaving it stock! xD

Heyy! Great video as usual.
I met some of your friends at a Cycle Gear. I could not believe it!
I just wanted to let you know that you're the reason I'm getting into motorcycle.
I'm starting my MSF course soon and I'm very excited.
Anyway, keep it up man. You're awesome.

When one of my scooter's exhaust needed to be replaced, I only had an $8 lawn mower muffler handy. It looked stupid, but sounded just like this!

If you want it a bit more bearable You could always buy an aftermarket ebay silencer that instead of on the muffler it fits in the header where the muffler connect. Not sure which type since there are a ton of different styles and types of universal fitting and shapes not sure how it would affect the Navi 🤔

Just installed my Yoshimura exhaust on my Navi. Without any additional inserts, it's SO loud! It rattled my brains on my ride to and from work...and rattled the header nuts right out... Silly me didn't check a torque spec, just cranked em down with my ratchet. Looks like you bought the spark arrestor. Yosh sells a silencer too. I'll be buying the silencer for sure.

The plus side of losing the header nuts is that it gave me a reason to order additional parts since I was already paying for shipping. Bought a Ranger Green headlight surround and silver lower covers from the Ranger Green model (mine is N U T Brown)

That's been my issue with essentially all exhausts I've put on my bikes: they're all too loud. I want an exhaust that's a bit louder than stock, but no matter if I've gone with FMF, Two Bros, Akrapovic or Yoshimura they're all absurdly loud. It's a shame you have to choose between a wheezing stock exhaust or a loud as shit hooligan exhaust. Finding the sweet spot in between these two extremes is very difficult, and every time you try a new exhaust that claims to be less loud you end up spending like 500 dollars only to find out they were lying.

The Yoshi RS2 for the Navi weighs 5.0 lbs. total, and removes 6.4 lbs. of useless Honda scrap metal. To make sure you don't need to go up in carb jet size, keep an eye on the condition of your spark plug by checking the tip every +/- 100 miles a few times and if it looks pretty good then drop it down to every +/- 500 miles). It will let you know visually if the Yoshi exhaust has allowed enough increased airflow to result in your AFR running leaner (too lean?) with the new exhaust. This also may be why your "butt dyno" feels like the Navi might be a tad bit less responsive to increased throttle. I'm sure the guys at the Scooter Swap Shop could give you some input also.

Probably means that stock the intake is the limiting factor on power. A drz400 gains very little from a pipe unless you do the 3x3 and rejet. 3x3 refers to removing the snorkel from the airbox and enlarging the hole to 3"x3".
