Every year around Christmas, the United States Navy Band performs a holiday concert in the nation’s capital. The band is a large group of highly trained and highly talented servicemen and women. It amazes me to see that such talented people are willing to work for our Navy military for virtually peanuts vs what they could earn in the private sector.
