I have watched the other top seven videos that came up when I searched "cold solder joint" and not *one* of them clearly defined what exactly it means and most of them beat around the bush in explaining how to spot or fix them, if they even explained it at all. A good video for people new to this kind of work. On a related note, in the early ‘70s I worked for a small electronics company who did subcontract work for the GPO, or whatever they were called at that time. Part of their specification when assembling PC boards was that the component leads were cut before soldering, not afterwards. This was to prevent stress in the solder joint. It’s not a practice I have usually followed in my own projects, but I thought it might be of interest to you.

I am repairing an ABS module. Two solder joints looks like they have holes in them (very tiny holes). Would that cause an issue?
