last thing you want to do is insult someone who might one day save your life.

In the public services there should be no room for racism and discrimination at all, they all need to put their differences aside when helping the country

I served in Afghan and our unit was made up of soldiers from all backgrounds, rich, poor, white, black, Fijian, Nepalese etc. Never once did I see these brothers as anything other than brothers, I’d sooner lay my life down for any of them lads than anyone else. Racism may be an issue, but on a whole I never saw it. That’s my 10 pence worth 🤷‍♂️.

Hope our brother are watching this and learning... Joking around with some people can be your detriment, A brother as heavy and mighty as this, should have a no nonsense attitude! Period!

Drunken though: What if everyone that hears their fellow soldier being called a racial slur by a superior step forward and yells "Permission to speak!"?

Some people confuse being friendly with being weak... Stop joking around and laughing at the work place people. In the movies they always show the most respect to the serious types. It's sad cause it can break your spirit. But you put a barrier up for your own dignity's sake... Peace brov

We have to urgently rid this world of racism, discrimination, hunger, poverty and ignorance. This can only be done with the collective effort of humanity working together.

Applied to join the British Army from the CommonWealth, neither racism nor discrimination can break me or ruin my day. Its the state of your mind that matters.

It's a good sign people of feeling comfortable to complain it's a sign of progress.

You got to be joking anyway we only need people who are totally loyal to the country no matter what color of skin the person. Its really down to the officers to control this and stamp it out the moment it begins.

I learned one thing in the Army. If you are being bullied then you respond with your fists. If you are being bullied and do nothing about it then you have only yourself to blame. Even if it costs you you'r career it's better to go out swinging. Don't just take it and end up mentally fragged like me. Also don't speak up about mental health no matter how much they tell you it's OK. You'll just be branded as a SSAFA Case.

Someone once said, on a doc.: "Don't do it, be a civy (however, you spell it); join the police/do other things": when asked; "what advice, would you give to:
anyone, thinking of joining the Military!!"??
And B.T.W. this dude, was a young white guy, far as I remember!!
