AirCare medical transport marks its 20th anniversary in 2016. Part of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, AirCare operates three medical transport helicopters based in Jackson, Meridian and Columbus. With an experienced care team and advanced technology onboard, patients receive stabilizing treatment as soon as an AirCare helicopter lands. AirCare then transports patients from all over Mississippi to UMMC or other hospitals in a matter of minutes, not hours.
