A part of mature gratitude is trusting that WHATEVER is coming from God's hand is what I need and what is good and what will serve and strengthen his purpose, for my life and others. And because I know this I can thank God even when I don't understand why he's handing me something I don't think I want or don't think is a blessing.

Wow!! I needed this today...I just got into a huge fight with my husband and been struggling with my faith for the 1st time in my life!! And I've been mentally and physically abused by many family members for so long I don't know when it began as a child. My husband isn't abusive but controlling at times! After 28 yrs of marriage we still struggle daily. I never thought I'd ever say out of my mouth that I'm not a Christian and I did last night. Needless to say I've been up since yesterday feeling horrible...please pray for me and my family! But mostly for my soul! Thanks
