Prime Minister Rishi Sunak faces tough questions from Keir Starmer during first PMQs

Rishi Sunak has been fiercely questioned over his reappointment of Suella Braverman as Home Secretary and his wife’s non-dom tax status during his first PMQs.

Mr Sunak was greeted with a loud cheer from Tory MPs as he stood up at the despatch box and faced tough questions from Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.

The opposition leader’s first couple of questions focused on the controversial return of Ms Braverman to Cabinet, after she was sacked last week for committing two breaches of the ministerial code: one for sharing sensitive information outside the Government, another for doing so with a personal email address.
