Scarlet - 'Independent Love Song [Italian Mix]' (1995)

"In a different way, in a different way..." - Have you ever wondered what a Scarlet vs Massive Attack mash-up would sound like? Well, wonder no more. Originally a trio, the slimmed down UK pop duo had their biggest hit single with 'Independent Love Song', which peaked at #12 in February '95. Meanwhile, in the charts at the very same time, were Massive Attack and Tracey Thorn with their #14 hit 'Protection'. Italian DJ Bob Salton and producer Mauro Marcolin remixed Scarlet's track, taking "inspiration" from Massive Attack, for radio/club play in Italy. It got a UK release on one of the 'Love Hangover' CD single formats in August '95.

Sounds good. I love how you can clearly hear the acappella of the track so clearly. I have the 'Love Hangover' single, but it doesn't have this. I need to find it now lol
