Let's stop calling them 'soft' skills

Many freelancers and small business owners are too focused on their "hard" skills - the skills they need to do the job.

If you're a web developer, you might focus on PHP or HTML/CSS. If you're a designer, you might master Illustrator or Sketch. But most freelancers could benefit from practicing their "soft" skills such as patience, empathy and positivity.

I believe these skills are FUNDAMENTAL to long-term success, and so in this video I argue that we should stop singling out soft skills and regard them as essential.
