AutoTune is literally just pitch correction software. But some people, in response to my recent cover release, have said things that imply that they think it's a "fix everything" button that can make anyone sound perfect. In this video, I explain what AutoTune is and how it actually works. (I promise I'm not as salty as this description makes me sound lol)

loved your explanation. Been thinking of buying Antares Auto tune because I want to get a more professional sounding vocal sound, but maybe what I’m thinking of is a vocal processor and not just auto tune program.

Auto tune eliminates all the dynamics of vocals. Once a song is put into auto tune is has no real feel to it anymore. A perfect example is Don’t stop believing by Journey. Take the original and put it into auto tune and it ruins the song. Suitors tune makes everything sound digitally rendered and looses any dynamics the song has.

I wanted to see a good example, as before and after voice that was corrected right. I got not encouraged here. I am shopping which auto tune app should I turn to but it sounded awful and very disappointing not even knowing if you tried all kinds or you just have a bad app.

I never use autotune it makes my song horrible instead, all the emotions of the song gets lost also I stopped using echo reverb and stuff cuz people consider those as autotune too bruh.
