When you talk about additional styles of a certain knife you should add a picture on the screen of the other options! Love the vids thanks guys 🫡

Magnacut ESEE Sencillo is approx $170 street price - Benchmade in S30V is $340-360 their pricing has crossed the line of ridonkulous!!! I look at Benchmade buyers these days as the people who dont really know knives and buy them bc they are expensive and thus, “they must be the best”. 😂😂😂

polyetherimide is Ultem. It's the non-branded name for the same material. Like PTFE is the same as Teflon

Dave, as a forgotten left hander, don't be afraid to amplify a knife when it offers a reversible clip. I bought one too many knives assuming the knife was reversible, but found out many dollars later that I was wrong. Left handers UNITE!

Ultem is the brand name for polyetherimide made by General Electric Plastics Division, now SABIC. Other polyetherimide manufacturers that can't use the Ultem trademark, but its the same polymer.

Here, its just like DuPont trademarks like Teflon for PTFE coatings, or Nylon for polyamide.

$990 for the Arius? I more or less gave up collecting last year and when I bought my Arius maybe three, four years ago it was $635. All titanium, gen 4, blue ti hardware, M390. I'd be totally broke if I was still collecting. It's why I stopped and sold off 135 knives. But the Arius is one of the 70 or so I still have. The closing action is just butter. Best I've felt.

My father always carried a Case penknife, two blades, about 2.5 inches. I worked as a theatre tech for about 20 years with a Craftsman four-blade camp knife.
Currently, I carry a Victorinox Rambler, and, as needed, a Victorinox Tourist or an Evogrip 14. I have many others, including various Case knives and most Victorinox knives, a Buck 110 and 119 (from the mid 1970s), and a Mora Companion and Garberg. but they are mostly a collection, not generally used.

That benchmade with 24 k gold liners is a steal ! ...What? The liners are not 24 k gold ? Did Johnny Cash carry it the day he died ? Hmmm might be overpriced then.😂

Been looking for a full size Spartan plague doctor for quite a while. Finally pulled the trigger a couple days ago and received it yesterday from you guys quite a piece of knife art very happy. Don’t really understand why you guys still had one available but not complaining.

Ultem is a brand name for PEI material... similar with Micarta being an actual name brand

I'll stay with my vg1 s.r.k. an s.r.k.-c, been using for a number of years still going strong.

Wow I really appreciate you pointing out the simplicity of tip down carry. I’m happy with either option, but I’ve always wondered at the mass hatred of tip down carry. I find it to be one of the most debatable knife factors that is rarely debated😂

Jeez, you can clearly hear the lockstick on that Malibu. I contacted Pro Tech about the lockstick on my Malibu. They said it will eventually wear in but never go away because it’s a trait of the button lock design. Tell that to Civivi. I have several button lock Civivi’s that are smooth as heck and didn’t require ’break in’ and don’t have lockstick. Oh well.
