No it's not like that at all, a plus point for maths is that it's doesn't atleast in principle require too much prio knowledge and via practice anybody can master it, and top of that I hate it when people see maths as just a act of solving questions and making tricky questions or just applying their application and judging it's speed, maths is so much more than that
