Learn Hip Hop Dance: The Two Step

There are multiple different types of two step in hip hop dance, including the basic, double, four corners, stepping out and the type you learned in the
Find the Beat lesson. In each of these two steps, you'll start with your feet touching.
Basic Two Step
Step to your right with your right foot, then bring your left foot over to meet it. Step to your left with your left foot, then bring your right foot over to meet it.
Double Two Step
1. Step to your right with your right foot, then step it back inward, then slightly further outward. While shifting your weight to the right foot, bring your left foot inward to meet your right foot.
2. Step to your left with your left foot, then step it back inward, then slightly further outward. While shifting your weight to your left foot, bring your right foot to meet your left foot. This is the reset part of the move.
Four Corners
Step your right foot forward and to the right. Step your left foot forward and to the left. Step your right foot backward, then step your left foot backward.
Turning the Feet Out
1. Step forward with your right foot, turning it so that the toe points to the right and forward. Bring your right foot back to neutral position.
2. Step forward with your left foot, turning it so that the toe points to the left and forward. Bring your left foot back to neutral position.
Combination
After practicing all of these two steps, try chaining them all together in this combination: basic right, basic left, basic right, basic left, double right, double left, double right, double left, four corners, four corners, turn out right, turn out left, turn out right, turn out left.
Adding Other Elements
Since the two step focuses mainly on the legs and feet, you can add other elements to it with your other body parts. You can do things like moving your arms, twisting your torso, bobbing your head and snapping your fingers.
