That looks great!! If you ever want to try another kind of screen, I use the "plastic canvas" in the cross stitch and embroidery section of the craft store. It's the same stuff that's sold for bonsai, and it comes in fun colors. The nice thing is if any of mine are stolen and not ripped out of the pot, I can prove they're mine because of the bright color I use 😋

I planted 32 Echinocactus grusonii seeds today and 28 Ferocactus cylindarceus, Red California barrel cactus seeds yesterday. I've also purchased, received, and repotted one of each. They are only 2 1/2" potted specimens.

Hahaa you also use drywall mesh tape? Love that stuff. Awful for drywalling tho

This reminds me so much of potting bonsai. Do you think cacti could benefit in root growth if they were wired into a pot like you would with a tree?
