For me, the 20" has a really appealing tone. I have mostly bright cymbals, but now I'd like to get a set of dark cymbals for variety. I didn't think you could get a decent sounding cymbal with B8 bronze, but everything I've read about these Meinl Classic Custom Dark cymbals is extremely positive.

The bigger the better, I think. The 16 sounds like a splash, and the 18 hasn't got much power either. The 19 is OK, but why is it a different colour? I wouldn't want three black crash cymbals and one brown one, would you? Unacceptable. The 20, 21 and 22 are awesome. BTW, I am a PAISTE man - 2002/RUDE for practice and noisy gigs and Signature/Twenty Series for best.

Like them all but for hardcore and metal 20"-22" is to dark but those sizes in a bright cymbal would be good

i have the 18 20 and 22 crash ride. 18 inch trash and 12 inch splash 16 trash stack thingy mabob and the 16 inch meinl dark hi hats. Gotta say, looks insane with my kit and sounds great. I need the 16 inch crash !!!!
