Hi, can the Godox M1 be used while it's being charged via the usb?

Can you use the strobe effect with colors or just with white light? And Can you decide how fast/slow the strobe goes?

Got the M1 today. A lot of fun to be had with but it gets a bit hot (used it like for 10mn and it got a bit hot).

I would be much more interested in the M1 if it had external batteries, NP-F or LP-E6 style. Also some wireless functionality. Otherwise very tempting.

The r1 sucked me in with the cool music and then went suddenly cheesy
